And it’s for the first album. Yep, another variant : black, white, blue, clear, red and then silver! You can’t never get enough of a great album. Like Keith Richards would sing : “You got the silver”.
Apart the colour, it’s exactly the same pressing than all the others. As I’m late and a bit lazy, I’ll just copy-paste the HMV’s description about this 500 copies limited edition…
The Temperance Movement (hmv Exclusive) The 1921 Centenary Edition Silver Vinyl
This year marks a full century since the first hmv store opened its doors at 363 Oxford Street in London, and on July 24 we’ll be celebrating our 100th birthday in style with a brand new and exclusive range of limited edition vinyl just for you…
As part of our birthday celebrations we’re pleased to announce the new 1921 Centenary Edition range, for which we have carefully curated a selection of the finest albums and soundtracks from the last 100 years and had them specially pressed onto some beautiful coloured vinyl – all of which will be available exclusively in hmv stores on Saturday July 24 and from store.hmv.com at 4pm the same day. As ever, our exclusives will be available on a first come, first served basis… and when they’re gone, they’re gone!
With the announcement last year that Phil Campbell, The Temperance Movement’s chief songwriter, has decided to leave the band it’s unclear at the time of writing whether we’ve seen the last of the Scottish blues-rock outfit, but at least they left three cracking albums behind – not least their eponymous debut LP, which first made its landing in 2013.
Recorded in just four days, The Temperance Movement returns to vinyl for only the second time as part of our exclusive 1921 Centenary Edition series, with a very limited run of 500 copies pressed onto silver vinyl.
